What About State-SponsorshipReader comment on item: L.A.'s Thwarted Terror Spree Submitted by Alex (United States), Sep 6, 2005 at 19:32 Call me paranoid, but I firmly believe that terrorists are never genuinely "home-grown." Rather than being spontaneous, terrorist operations, escpecially ones with the long-term planning and relatively sophisticated agent-handling systems described in this case, require the active cooperation of professional intelligence agencies; more to the point, I believe this was Iran's doing.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
