Our dearly departed Omar Bakri Mohammed who left of his own accord, says he won't be coming back to England as he feels so persecuted there despite having bled the benefits system dry for more than ten years, awarded a £200,000 house in North London and an SUV worth £30,000 by a charity for the disabled. When a Conservative MP concerned about Muslim fundamentalists and at that time, was pilloried for his stance, written off as a loony and very much a lone voice, managed to get Bakri's benefits stopped in 1997, Bakri dreamed up the smart idea of declaring himself an invalid and his once sprightly step turned into a limp with the aid of a walking stick. I noticed on recent footage from Lebanon where he currently resides that the stick had gone. Slack jawed is the only way I can describe the response of the ordinary general public out there. Our politicians think our hard earned money is so much largesse to be dispensed to any cleric who fancies helping himself. As for the remaining 9 clerics that the Government want to kick out - they have been granted a £600,000 pot in legal aid from Government funds to fight - guess what? - the Government. You couldn't make it up could you?
