End of golden age maybe not, but the majority of American Jews are grossly negligent in their lack of support for Israel and it will bite them back soon or later. Many among them just do not care as if Israel did not exist, yet their safety whether they like it or not is linked to the state of Israel. They just do not get it and it is disappointing and sad. Many even resent it as if israel was the reason for the troubled world in which we live. They are the equivalent of the Europeans who are frankly pro Palestinian.
Like Bush would say, you are for Israel or against Israel, there is no in between. Terror affects Israel first and then the US while Europe is paralyzed with resentment against the Jews. For 2000 years Christian Europe has attempted to exorcize the Jews for their role in the crucification of the Christ. (I.E. Holocaust, refusal to aggressively address terror, and so forth).
American Jews do not want to learn what happened to the European Jews (Polish or German or others of the 2 WW).
History keep repeating itself on and on and the Chosen people does not learn and will probably never learn.
