Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men

Submitted by Jenny (United States), Oct 2, 2019 at 21:29

I have just met a mena man also. And he is exactly how you you all described, a fast "relationship" and love bombing. What can he offer me but good looks and promises, he doesn't work because he says he lost his job because he is not muslim. My situation, is exactly like all of you here. The only difference is that he is an athiest and we have a lot of similar interests, but i wonder if he just mirrors me. He is anti-muslim and listens to metal. But the strange thing is that pretty much all of the red flags might be there. And I am wondering with him being an athiest will he have more morals or less compared to the typical mena man. He hasn't asked for money but has told me he is poor a few times. He says he hasn't been married but I am not sure. He did say he has had a lot of online romances, and has had some of them visit. Also I have seen that he took one on the city/sex fake marriage tour. What is with these guys? I just thought if they weren't muslim they might be different, but I think it is even just cultural.
