Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: Kurdi mena man /I still have a soft spot for him

Submitted by Lina (United Kingdom), Oct 6, 2018 at 19:24

Hi Sabrina, I've written a long post about Kurdish men a while back and, well generally speaking they don't tend to engage in serious relations with non Kurds. They are very tribal.

Can and do they fall in love with women that aren't Kurdish? Of course, more often than not actually, but the family pressure to marry someone approved of can in some circumstances be fatal.

I've known of British and especially Turkish women marrying them, but it's to men already based in a developed country - in your case the chances of it working out are slim to none.
