I left Egypt about 7months ago... I was born in the US but I am full blooded Egyptian..... I fell in love with a guy 10 years younger then me.... He is the first born Male out of 8 children from 4 different wives ... and is half bedouin... his father died 5 years ago .... the family split and he was left with the house.... I met him at one of the camps he was working at .... He left the house abandoned for two years.. It was the most horrific dirty dark and dusty rats nest I have ever seen, I could not even walk into the house .. I decided to flip the house and make it awesome it took 6months .... of course everyone in the little town started talking and doing their nosey dance....Its now one of the nicest houses on the block I made it artsy.

Anyway he started controlling me and did not like when I would leave the house... and once he got pissed cause I would not buy him (us) a car to use as a taxi l...(whatever) its been 7 months and my return is in 2 weeks..... We talk, fight, cry and make up on the phone everyday.... and now that my return date is close I am having anxiety, depression, I can't get out of bed there are waaaay to many red flags telling me it is not the time to go..especially with what is going on these days....

I can't distinguish between paranoia or my gut instincts.. we are in LOVE hahahahah ! but so opposite in western vs eastern thinking... all I want to do is help him... As my return date approaches I am 75% packed with all of the things in my bag for him. clothes, shoes, stuff for "our" house .... the entity is sooooo big surrounding me I am tempted to go return EVERYTHING ..... I feel like I am not ME....

and to add to the red flags someone in the town stole both my suitcases off the bus as I departed to come back to USA. the only thing in the bag of value was my GoPro which had pictures of us.... somehow I feel like the stolen baggage and the information on the camera is enough of a warning for me not to go back.... anytime soon

Submitting....
