I am not sure I agree with you, Mr Pipes. I live in Paris (France) for the past 14 years from NY and see that France "hits on one hand and heals on the other". It just does not have a good, straightforward, specific agenda -- it sets rules and then "tergiverse" about them, yes, no, maybe, etc.

Now is vacation time so things are quiet, everyone is on beaches, but in September you will hear more about the hidjab where again it is a no-yes matter!

Sorry, I do not agree with you on this!
