Reader comment on item: [The Abu Ali Case and] Balancing Liberties, Security

Submitted by Rob (United States), Mar 1, 2005 at 20:49

The answer to your question is, of course, protect our national security first and foremost. While civil liberties may be affected at times, this is unfortunately a necessary evil. This traitor to America, Abu Ali, is probably one of many that are in all liklihood just like him. The Saudis have been flaunting western hate via wahabism in their privately funded schools here in the U.S. for years.

The left doesn't want to acknowledge that in any way.

The right sees the truth more clearly.

With that said, Bushes' ties to the Saudi royal family make him also suspect in allowing these schools such free reign here in the U.S.

Freedom of speech is important but let's be real, if the enemy is within our midst, openly creating new jihadists and we sit by and allow it then shame on us.
