First clever comment ive read since the conflict started.

I have followed it in both western and russian media. Both sides painted ideologically charged, skewed, sometimes downright silly picture. On one side you would see brave freedom fighters bleeding on CNN, on other you would have russians ride on Syrian tanks, showing the destroyed cities. This is all just so horrible. Really, this conflict is going nowhere, it needs an intervention to protect the civilians and let all the alawites and the shias and the sunnis and whatever fight it out between themselves. This article is the first one i've read that actually made sense.
