Communism cannot be a religion

Reader comment on item: Support Assad
in response to reader comment: Communism is a religion too!

Dear Dhimmi,

I respectfully disagree that communism can be a religion. Communism rose and fell inside 100 years (give or take), largely without bloodshed. Religions don't do that. Further, communism doesn't have a central church or temple, nor does it have specific rites. Communism never held sway with a majority of the people it ruled over. If it had, Russians would have retained communism as an identity trait after the fall of the USSR.

Anyways, I've been a long time reader here, and I enjoy reading your posts, keep up the good work in the fight against Islamic imperialism! Buts important that we make complete sense in all are arguments and ensure of veracity of our arguments since Islamic apologists and their liberal henchmen do have the upper hand on us in terms of access and control of academia and thereby give off the impression that they are more knowledgeable, smarter, and more correct than we are.

Regards,

WE
