Westerners must be true to their morals and help bring an end to the warfare against civilians

I didn't get your point, Mr Pipes. If you want both sides to continue killing each other on the fields of battle, you should allow them to kill as much civilians as they can, because both sides are draining opponent's manpower. It seems more reasonable to get young men killed before they get into the government or jihadists boot camps.
