in response to reader comment: to whom who is interest in the meaning of Gaza in Arabic

Our dear slayhy copied and pasted the following without examination of what it says and he fell in the trap

there are four meaning for the word Ghazza in ArabicGházza (غزة) is the name of city in Palestine currently ruled by HamasQita3 Gházza (قطاع غزة) which is called the Gaza Strip in English.Ghazá (غزا) means "he invaded".Gházza (غزة) means "a sting", "a prick" in slang Arabic from the Arabic word wakhzah (وخزة)

This is shameful and you know what? If a student of the Arabic language would post this nonsense he will flunk

Shame on you for posting this but you know what? If you can believe that an Arabian warlord and caravan raider spoke to an Arabian deity via an angel you can believe anything

ROTFL you left the evidence that you took the whole article from answers.com without realizing that you left this clue

Shame on you

who does not know slang Arabic is not an Arab -

What slang? I will give you a chance! Slang in which dialect you tell us and I challenge you to provide any evidence to support your cockamamie claims

so people don't be fooled by some

The fool is he who pretends to tell us that the word Gaza means sting without even checking what dictionaries tell us
