in response to reader comment: Is there any hope for peace?

If there is any truth in this cartoon --and there might very well be-- then can there be any hope for peace between Muslims and Israelis.

First of all, the cartoon should show Israelis using F16 and Hamas using a home made rocket or M16. Second, I can't believe that there are still some people who believe such propaganda that Palestinians don't care for their people and they fight hiding behind babies (civilians). If you know Gaza, you know it is the most densely populated region in the world. Also, Hamas or Palestinians have no tanks or jets to fight. They attack and hide.

Now, Is Hamas or other factions the problem? Of course not. The problem is so ******* obvious that it really amazes me that the world (America and the West) ignore it. There are 1.5 million Palestinian in Gaza, 3 million in the West Bank and about 6 million as refugees all over the world because Israel tool over Palestine in 1948. We are a people who are occupied by another. Why should Palestinians accept Israeli occupation of what was left of their Historical Palestine.

No some ignorant or hateful person might say " But Gaza is not under Israeli control". Well, the borders of Gaza are under Israeli control and the Israelis decide who or what enters Gaza or not.

I think it is time for the West to wake up. The West needs to realize that they have to deal with Islamic movements all over the world. Muslims are here to stay and flourish.

You say that Muslims do not respect life. This amazes me. Do you believe what you are saying or just parroting what you've been hearing all of your life. I don't mean to offend but I'm not gonna respond to this.

Take care
