Twilight time for USA and Israel?

First of all, thank-you for the longer-term background to today's situation. I suspect that, over the years, I had put Ariel Sharon on a pedestal when n fact he did make strategic mistakes which haunt Israel up unto our present situation.

These days I tend to think that America is in decline. It is sad to think that Israel may be facing the same kind of fate. If Israel disappears, it's curtains for Humanity.
