Ibn Ismail: Arabic Koran is a disaster for Allah and his religion

Reader comment on item: Uncovering Early Islam
in response to reader comment: 80% Muslims don't understand Quran!

Submitted by Plato (India), Jun 10, 2012 at 06:18

Ibn Ismail you write:

>>I agree that most Muslims don't understand Arabic, which is a disaster. But how many Christians understand the language of Christ (pbuh) and the bible (original version)?<<

Except Muslims no other religion claims that its scripture cannot be properly understood without reading it in the original language. Nor do they claim that every comma and full stop is as their god intended in the scripture.

These claims are a big disaster for Islam as it means that 80% of Muslims have no clue to whether they understand their Islam correctly.

It is also a disaster for Allah for He did not foresee that the world would be dominated by English and revealed the Koran to an Englishman so that eventually 100% of his slaves would have understood His message rather than leave 80% floundering in ignorance if Islam.
