Dear SaharaBlonde:

No doubt that many people are angry if their situation gets posted on the internet.

I certainly encourage people to post relevant information so long as it's true to the best of their knowledge and hidden faults aren't unnecessarily revealed without proper consent.

As far as removing the information, that can be tough to do. I'm not sure what site you specifically. I don't have any say as to what gets posted on here and what gets edited. I only control what I write like everyone one else.

Sites like facebook or youtube allow you to shut down your account, but the page is still active even if not visible. On Y! Answers, once an answer is chosen, the question and answer are pretty well locked.

You can always contact the site and ask for removal, but I really doubt they'd go to the trouble.

I'm not sure if what he is asking is feasible, but if you are getting threats, make sure you save them and notify immigration and the FBI.
