I don't know if you should "run away from him" but be very cautious. You have met him on the internet and you only know what he tells you. It could all be a bogus story that he has made up for your benefit and telling you what you want to hear. Many Middle Eastern men seem to get their thrills and entertainment from attracting women on the internet which involves bets with their mates and the thrill of the "chase". It could all just be a game to him and financial and emotional ruin for you.

Be wary!
