Desperately needs your advice

Dear Readers,

I am so glad that I found this site while I was looking for some blogs about non-Muslim women who are dating Muslim men. My story is quite similar with the others. I went into one of the yahoo chat rooms and chatted with a guy he was born in Turkey but he grew up in Spain. He seemed nice and we eventually hit it off. We've been chatting for half a year now and he is very eager to fly here in Philippines. My family is against the idea of me dating a Muslim. But, I really like this guy and a part of me wants to give this relationship a chance. Should I run away from him?

I'd appreciate all the advice I could get. Thanks...
