Reader comment on item: Islam and Democracy - Much Hard Work Needed
in response to reader comment: ...Western history?

Reading TL Winslow's proposals to tame the Muslim world, one wonders if Hitler committing suicide had turned into an entire tribe of crazy ghost spirits that reside in otherwise sane looking people around us. The crazy idea is nothing but a modern day embellishments on the Nazi idea of bringing in a master civilization through the force of arms. (And the irony is that there is no dearth of Western 'scholars' blaming Islam to get converts through the swords.).

Winslow writes: "Too bad, there's 1.x billion of them, and this effort will take at least 50 million soldiers and 30 million teachers, requiring full participation by India and China, who will quibble about the secular curriculum but deserve their place in the Sun if they help us rid the world of the Islamist scourge."

Let India and China first settle out with the hegemonist US before they can take on Muslims of the world. The way US is encircling both and planning the next World War on Asian soil, there will be left any time to bother about the Muslim world. Bernard Lewis's clash of civilization has taken a new turn of the page. Winslow is still fighting the old war.
