Reader comment on item: Islam and Democracy - Much Hard Work Needed
in response to reader comment: ISLAM IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH DEMOCRACY

Submitted by Amin Riaz (United Kingdom), Feb 8, 2011 at 03:09

Kemal Attaturk was a dictator - he forced his beliefs on to people - whilst destroying hundreds years of history. The Attaturk experiment was obviously going to fail.

The only reason christian West supports Israel is for its own Christianty. Whilst Jews lived in Christian lands they had years of abuse and misery. Then after WW2, killing around 6 million jews, some bright spark solved the problem by deporting jews onto the land that did not belong to them. Modern Israel was created by fundamentalist zionists. Same Zionists that to this day maintain that Israel is jewish homeland ONLY for the Jews and not a single Arab belongs there. Irrespective of the fact of the people that have been living there for generations - they should all be removed.

How is a forced Israel democracy. Judaism is a small religion comparatively. Why are its beliefs being forced on others. Its only and only Jewish belief for a homeland in Palestine. That land had not been Israel for around 2000 yers before that.
