Bush is way off the markReader comment on item: 9/10 vs. 9/12 on 11/2 Submitted by Mukesh Gupta (India), Oct 27, 2004 at 01:51 I feel that even Bush is way off the mark in this monumental fight. The war against Islamic terrorism has to be fought on two fronts-1) ideologically- where the ideology behind the terrorism is clearly identified , brought to public notice , debated , de constructed and defeated. 2) militarily- though it is more important because those who believe in terrorism will not listen to any reason unless defeated militarily and thoroughly. Bush has called Islam as religion of peace. I feel we cannot handle terrorism with a kid gloves approach like this. Also the epicentre of terrorism -- Pakistan and Saudi- Arabia are now 'key- Allies' in this fight agaist terrorism. I feel the administration is sleeping. They may feel that they are taking terrorists by ear whereas the fact is terrorists are taking America by nose. We need much clear vision and resolute will to fight this gigantic and monumental war.
