A Canadian Who Understands the War on TerrorReader comment on item: 9/10 vs. 9/12 on 11/2 Submitted by David G (Canada), Oct 26, 2004 at 11:31 Your piece points out how crucial the outcome of next Tuesday's national election.America is indeed going to choose between a man who hasn't grasped the post-911 realities and a man who has. Senator Kerry isn't prepared to take over George W. Bush's war against Islamist terrorism. As Kerry put it in his own words, 9/11 "didn't change me much at all." How could America elect a man who wasn't changed by the traumatic events of 9/11? As a concerned Canadian living in Ottawa, it baffles my mind how Kerry could be elected at the next President of the United States. President Bush is the right person to lead America in 2004. If Kerry does win the election, I'm afraid that Kerry will prematurely pull out of Iraq, and give into the terrorists, who have claimed the lives of thousands of people around the world – and yes, I am a Canadian who understands George W. Bush's resolve against the war on terror. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
