Although I have said that Bush is way off the mark, I still feel he can handle terrorism better than the likes of Kerry.
The very fact that so many Muslims and Arabs are desperate to see Bush defeated is indication enough that the policies of the Bush administration have frustrated their game, though they are not totally wiped out. The need of the hour is to keep the fight in our enemies' camp, and hit them hard.
The problem is that all Americans and Europeans are obsessed with ideals of Human- Rights , Secularism, Universal brotherhood , equality before law of terrorist and thugs. etc etc .
They have to think out of the box that these values, though noble, do not have universal appeal. There are societies and civilisations where any mercy shown is considered cowardice, where religion is totally woven with politics and the use of religion for political purpose is a way of life. In these societies, killing another human being just because he is not Muslim is not only normal but is an act of great valor.
Once these realities percolate down to the Americans and Europeans, then only their confusion will end and the fight against terrorism will start in real earnest.
Therefore, among the present contenders we should vote for Bush for the sake of our own safety and survival.
