At least your marriage was a lot different than mine. We married in the courthourse and they had me reciting something in arabic. I did not know what it was. Everything was translated in english for me on paper, but I had no ideal what I was saying to this man who was marrying us. He never made it to my country. I had a change of heart while we were waiting for the visa. After reading these comments, I found out I had too much to lose for a man who has nothing. The attorney I hired is from my country to handle the divorce has not ran into any problems, yet. Make sure you cut all legal strings to your husband. You do not want this to haunt you later in life.
