Ann ,you could have had your Moroccan "husband" imprisoned for the beatings he gave you.. He managed to get a lot of money from you .Many women have filed cases against their Moroccan;s extorting money and then marrying another westerner as love fraud . I know of one case where the man served 4 months and had to repay the money. Others that I know of have left the country but they will be arrested at the airports or ports on their return. Don;t you think it;s time that you Ann and these other women stood up for your rights. You need receipts for money sent ,bank statements, photos, text messages, e-mails e.t.c . and a good lawyer . I think that the tourist police would be very grateful for any information regarding these crimes.Ann good luck with your new marriage and if you feel you don;t need the money then win your case and donate to one of the many orphanages here in Morocco .
