Good job Margaret this is very impressive and makes me think twice now, But from my own experiences, I asked some muslim men before about the things like treathing woman bad and all the abuse, and degrading of woman and so on, most of them all say it isn't true ( of course ) But supposely I heard by friends that also there is 2 Quran so, suposely all the " bad" stuff is old and things had now changed over years. It's like the old Quran had been putted aside or something now days ( according to them ). And they live by the "new one" now.

Anyways, it still confusing. I always taught that this wasent true. That yes woman and men were equal, and that it's just because some muslim man were bad like black or white guys can be bad too to their wifes. It's hard to know the deep truth. But I think and I do not know for a fact but is it a " cultural" thing or in west it's the same sometimes?
