Your Tanakh is full of judgement after judgement after judgement - each one brought upon Israel / Judah for being disobedient to 'the LORD'. Each time GOD raised up a neighboring nation to take retribution on a stiff-necked people. Those nations were subsequently judged by GOD as well, but the fact remains the woes of Israel / Judah were brought upon their heads by their own disobedience. The process in on-going my friend, so stop with the woe is me attitude - GOD will continue the process until Messiah comes to rule over the whole Earth with an iron-rod - for that is the only 'thing' a stiff-necked people will understand.

Yes - GOD CHOSE ISRAEL - when will Israel truly chose GOD?
