For Mariann EvansReader comment on item: On Islam and Islamism Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Mar 30, 2008 at 00:05 Thank you for your interesting comments. Something else I consider worth noting: Qur'an 9.111 states it is "binding on Allah" to receive into "Paradise" Muslims who kill the unbeliever. In other words, the religion of Islam guarentees the promise of Paradise, eternal life, for those who kill the ones rejecting Allah. They are willing to "kill the Kafir", as you say, not just because of their own "superiority" but because of the incentive - eternal life as a reward. Christianity - eternal life is never granted in exchange for "works" (Eph. 2:8-9); only through faith (Acts 16:31). Islam - not only requires "works", these "works" involve taking away volition (faith), and in fact, reward it with Paradise (Qur'an 9.111). Never have two religions given such polar-opposite instruction. In my opinion, Islam is the masterpiece project of the one who said, "I will make myself like the Most High." - Isa. 14:13-14 Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
