Thanks for your words of wisdom. It's very nice to see postings from others who fully understand the culture and religion. I wish you well.

I also hope that all the posters on here will pause to pray for the soul of Noor Faleh Almaleki who died yesterday from the injuries she received when her father ran over her with his automobile because she was too "westernized". This woman was a beautiful, young, intelligent Iraqi woman who did nothing to anyone except exercise the freedoms that so many Americans take for granted. It's time for Americans to stand-up and demand that our legislators address the so-called "honor killings" problem that has shown its ugly face in our country. We are blessed with so much in the U.S. and we cannot sit back and watch women from other countries/cultures/religions be brutally murdered just because they, too, want to enjoy the same freedoms.

Noor was a brave young woman. God rest her soul.
