As a former American, I share your concern about the US handing over supervisory power to the UN and other international institutions. But as an Israeli, I am even more outraged to read in today's newspaper -- August 17, 2004 -- that the US has assumed (and/or Israel has turned over) power to the United States to "monitor" home construction in parts of historic Israel. Outrageous!

The one-worlders are no doubt rejoicing, but all the rest of us should be protesting, long and hard.
