Jesus came to the world to lay his life for us. He did not call any of his disciples nor himself take up any sword to do so. Even when the time He is taken for persecution. He speaks and people are heal. Read the bible as well k? Jesus dont need a sword actually, what he need is pray. Angels will do it for him. Also, Jesus will come back and those who died righteous will be rewarded greatly. But those who defend themselves righteously... I dont know what happen to them. :)

If you relax yourself, think again. Will God wants us to defend one another or forgive one another? NT says that we should cool down the coal in the head of the enemy, and for that, we will make friends with enemy. If we strike the enemy, least, they will retaliate. And for that, does it justify your righteous defend anymore?

More so, how is the world going to end up peace if everyone is defending themselves with weapons? Which Indirectly treatens others. For this Jesus thought us to put down our sword. Whoever defend itself with a sword will be dead under the sword. Which I think is very true. Just think of this, you will know, the teachings in the bible it is not from men, but God Himself. There are actually more things in bible that contridicts the Koran. Slowly examine them, you will see the wisdom in the bible and koran. For that, you can see which is truly God-inspired.

Concerning the prophesy and scientific evidance in the Koran. I am quite amaze. Actually I suspect people from the past are not as scientifically retarded. They are smart people as well. History tells us that. Even Albert Einstein, is not from our so scientifically advance generation. People in the past can build the pyramids, read stars too. Which lots of us find it hard today, even harder so in the past. I guess, in some way or another. People do get the scientific fact right by just using logic. I am a science student, I read my science books, i could actually figure out the more advance things which I later learnt. For instance, I actually knew the stuff of grade 12 when I was grade 9. Which was not thought in grade 9. Does that makes me a prophet? I love that idea, but sadly I am not.

Read the bible k? All the best, God bless you.
