I am not sure what the 'covering' and the 'veil' in Isaiah 25 mean. The words could refer to '8: he will swallow up death for ever.' The grip of Death on the fallen Man will be released.
As to the Psalm 83, it's interesting to note that about half of the ten peoples enumerated seem to have a connection to Edom, descendants of Esau. The Esau hated by God. And today Edom roughly corresponds to Jordan, maybe wider. King Herod came from Idumea (Edom), and no doubt new herods will emerge.
