Kattey - I would like to thank you for your comment, it will give me great pleasure to reply to you. You have given me an opportunity to make things straight.

As you said that the Arabs memorized the Quran, It was not one person who memorized the Quran. Many. The Arab excelled in Arabic language, they used it to compete in poetry. They mastered the language and were excellent memorizers.

The Quran came on Mohammad during 23 years, the proof that it is a miracle from God lies in its strong language, and even the Arabs who excelled in Arabic could not compete with it. Also it is a miracle because it has many scientific knowledge know one in 5th century could ever bring such knowledge without advance in science. Also and most important its structure, number of verses, the location of the verse as I will show you below

Muhammad by order of God married the only virgin (Aisha), she was at a very young age, the rest of his wives were all widows or of very old age and one was divorced. Why did God order Mohammad to marry Aisha, because she was young, she lived after the Prophet 42 years, she was the main source of reference to the Muslims after he died, on the Quran since she memorized it completely as descended on Mohammad, she even sometime was present with Muhammad when Archangel Gabriel descend and recite to him verses from the Quran.

During the life of the Prophet, Muhammad ordered some of his companions to memorize verses as sent on the Prophets and he ordered its compilation. The order of the verse and chapters as of today, were arranged by God, and Mohammad was ordered where every verse and chapter should be located. Archangel Gabriel every year descended on Mohammad to hear him recite all what is revealed until that time. During the final year before Muhammad death, Archangel descended on Muhammad twice to hear him recite the whole Qumran. This was a sign to Muhammad that this time was near.

When Muhammad died, Abu Baker ordered the compilation of the Qumran in one book (Omar took the task) and it is known as HAFSA Book, the 3rd Khalifah Othman heard that some people in far land (Mesopotamia) are reciting the Quran wrongly that is they put some verses before others and recite wrongly. But this was not the case in Mecca and Medina, so Othman ordered making copies of HAFSA Quran and distributed in all lands and gave ordered for them that if they find copies not the same as HAFSA book, they should burn them.

Aisha was alive during this time and Hafsa (The daughter of the 2nd Khalifah Omar and the wife of the Prophet) too; they were references for any dispute.

This was done 12 years after the Death of Prophet Muhammad, (Very short time)

As for the diacritical mark, it was first ordered by Ali (the 4th Khalifah), around 20years after the death of Muhammad (Aisha and Hafsa were alive as well as many companions of the Prophet who memorized the Quran by Heart. the proper pronunciation of the Quran was used as reference to put marks on the letters, and these marks were later refined. So the pronunciation of the Quran is the same in all centuries never changed

- This shows you that the Quran was carefully gathered by very reliable sources of gathering or a pious people and very honest

Mohammad during His time was a very quiet man; he spoke little, most of his time he was contemplating in a cave. He rarely mingled with his people. He was illiterate but yet he brought marvels to the people. He lived in Pagan society who worshipped Idols, he never did

Proof of the divinity of the Quran

1. The confirmation of earlier Prophets such as Jesus, Moses, Abraham........

2. The scientific miracles in the Quran - such as the mountains as pegs, the big bang theory, that atom can be split, the stages of development of the fetus inside the womb..... and many more

3. The number miracle - the Quran is based on the number 19 (1 & 9 the first number of the number system and the last number of the number system).... many verses, their location their numbers, the sum of the letters in a certain verse have a relation to the number 19

Total chapters in the Quran are 114, they are divisible by 19 - the Bismillah (by the name of God....beginning of every chapter) consist of 19 letters - The numerical value for the word "Allah" is equivalent to 96 - Surah 96 is the 19 surah from the end of the Quran, the last revelation of the Quran consist of 19 words - verse 72:28 ("He has counted the numbers of all things") the number of the letters in this Sura 72 is 19 - Surah 96 is 19 verses

Other number miracles in the Quran - chapter 2 is 286 verses - the verse "Thus so we have made you (Muslims) a just medium nation ........." This verse is number 143 in the chapter in the middle of the chapter

Every prophet came with the sword, including Jesus, if you go back to the Bible (OT+NT) you will find Moses is calling for killing, Jesus is calling for killing by the sword. Muhammad is no different. But make sure when you read the Quran to see that the order was to defend (fight those who are fighting you) and at the same time God told Muhammad Do not aggress

Mohammad was order to be kind to all people not only Muslims, and to bring them to God by the best way (and argue with them in the best way), It is customer for a Muslim to say Salam (Peace) every time he meets people, So Islam is a very peaceful religion that in times it had to defend itself.

What you see today are very bad acts, that smear Islam, because this is not the nature of Islam, the aggression against Muslims worldwide and not giving them what belongs to them; caused such wave of violence. We are peace loving people who do not accept to be stepped on.

Finally, what are these 72 virgins, I never heard of this, definitely this is not in the Quran because I know Quran.

I have many many many examples to show you that the Quran is perfect and as God told us that HE is going to preserve it. And we know now How He did.
