No resolution. Period.

Unfortunately, this crisis will not be resolved. Period.
The Palestinians do not want it resolved.
Jordan, by its recent actions to disenfranchise non-Jordanian Palestinians, does not want it resolved.
Not a single Mid-East state wants it resolved.
Hamas and Hezbollah do not want it resolved.
Iran does not want it resolved.
Regardless what Obama may wish to do--whether backtrack, tack fore and aft, or maintain his position--he is entirely powerless to move this issue (or any other) forward in a positive manner.

It is unfortunate, however, that he blindly believes he can, and thereby weakens America, Israel, and our respective mutual interests.

Naivete, indeed!
