Shimon Hatzadik is not the only example. The same is with Kfar Etzion, bought in 1927 by Jews from Yemen.

And also interesting it would be to know the exact square kilometers of land left behind by the Jews from Arab states, when they were forced out of their home countries. I have read somewhere, altogether it is more than the terrain of Israel. Not counting the property of billions of $$ taken by the Arab governments.
