Israel should ignore Obama administration's demands.

Reader comment on item: Obama and Israel, Into the Abyss

Has Abbas reined in on the Palestinian terrorists? He was supposed to do it as the 1st condition stipulated in the Road Map.

So why is the Obama administration so adamant on imposing their conditions on Israel, when the Palestinians have not fulfilled a single condition inorder to have a state of their own?

Israel needs to just ignore the demands of the Obama administration as well as the international demands. Abbas can go on his globe trotting tours blackmailing Israel. That does not make him the leader of the Palestinians. It's no wonder that Hamas sees weakness in Abbas' leadership.

Have the Iranian leaders adhered to any of the demands from the UN and other leaders to stop their nuclear program? They just ignored those demands and got those pesky leaders off their back.

Same with Pakistan. They just take all the funds they can grab to build up their own military and do nothing to control the infiltration of Taliban and al Qaeda terrorists across their border with Afghanistan. If the Pakistanis had co-operated, these terrorist thugs could have been driven out of both those countries.

None of the Islamic countries want to be led to the abyss by some naive leaders of other countries. Israel needs to learn something from them.
