Canada, PLEASE read, I've seen all this before--This is NOT good!--Turkish man, facebook, on-line dating, comments

Hi there Canada and welcome!!!

First of all, let me just say that this man is not serious about your daughter at all.

Let me explain:

Facebook is a social networking site that I am quite familiar with. People on there usually do not have much flux with their friends list. If there is, it is a red flag and suggests that person has some real issues--or they are up to no good. I would say that both apply here.

I was recently talking to girl on facebook myself, and after we hung out for a week, she started erasing my comments, because what she was doing was collecting men from a Catholic dating site to flirt with, and she was no doubt worried they would back off if they saw what I wrote to her because my comments are flirtatious, confident and direct. She wasn't a scammer, just immature, dishonest and inconsiderate.

I am convinced this is what is happening with your daughter's man. I am also convinced he deletes the comments so that other women he is flirting with won't see her posts.

On a side note, I don't like the idea that he wants her to talk to only him and have no other male friends when he has female friends.This tells me, as a guy, that he does not respect her and that the relationship is unequal and it will probably always remain that way.

It's no wonder why she is confused.

I would say to her this really is not worth it. Now, I can understand if she's not quite willing to hit the bars and meet some selfish Canadian man and go down that same dark tunnel, but this on-line nonsense from this man is stuff I see on the internet done by teenagers.
