Misplaced credit

Reader comment on item: Reagan's Early Victory in the War on Terror

It is extremely disingenous of you to give Ronald Reagan credit for hostages who were released only minutes after his inauguration. Obviously, the work that led up to the release had to have been done by the previous president--unless, of course, you believe in the October Surprise theory that the Reagan people were negotiating with Tehran behind the scenes (a theory you have previously dismissed as a wacky conspiracy theory)!
