Where was President Reagan's machoism after the 250-some Marines were killed by terrorists in Beirut? He hemmed and hawed with the best of them. I think it's premature to put Kerry in the same class as those you criticize. He showed enough guts when his critics like Bush Jr., Cheney, Wolflowitz, Hastert, etc. were dodging the draft.
