Carter proved a Christian can be dumb.

Reader comment on item: Reagan's Early Victory in the War on Terror

Submitted by Larry Tooley, also a Christian (United States), Jun 16, 2004 at 13:58

Jimmy Carter forced Marine guards at the Iranian embassy to keep the ammunition across the street. What a nice touch. Why not relieve the Marines and use tour guides. When it came time to fight, the Marines had nothing to fight with.

He also wanted only one nuclear sub to prove to the Soviets that we were not warmongers.

He has not publically denounced Castro for putting all of Carter's Cuban dissidents in prison.

He better stay in his SS class in Plaines, Ga.
