Thanks, dhimmi no more - Zakaria Botros IS interestingReader comment on item: Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy? Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Jan 19, 2009 at 18:50 I was unable to view the "streaming English" on the site you provided (it was all in Arabic - gosh, you really can read that? -amazing) but I found this site - He has many booklets availiable for viewing (in English) - I read "The Knowledge of Salvation" - Zakaria Botros does have a critical eye for viewing exactly what scripture teaches (VERY REFRESHING) - this was regarding the Bible; he even argues that what scripture reveals and what Pope Shenouda III instructs do not always go together. I've yet to read any indepth critique on his part regarding Islam/the Qur'an/hadiths; I did read a quote from him, "My program is to attack Islam, not to attack Muslims but to save them because they are deceived. As I love Muslims, I hate Islam." Also, Arabic Newspaper al-Insan al-Jadid named Botros as Islam's "Public Enemy #1" because of the massive audience he has in the Arabic world. I also read an explaination of the hadith, "Rida' al-Kibir" (is that correct, dhimmi?) - it states that women should breastfeed strange men with whom they must spend any amount of time... The Wonders of Islam never cease Thanks again dhimmi for telling me about Zakaria Botros - I'll look forward to reading more of his teaching.
