Re same sex marriage I see no problem with your position.

Plural marriage though, appears to be a different thing in many cases because of what often seem large age, status and power differences between the male and his females in such arrangements. It seems very reasonable to question how consensual such unions are, and whether they actually can be consensual. Some would no doubt pass a smell test; but many appear not far removed from slavery.
