Harems are an inevitable sideshow, a symptom of the real problem

The real problem is the admission into Western countries of immigrants who don't share Western values, harems are just an inevitable sideshow. Given the vulnerability of the West due to the high value its citizens place on tolerance (relative to that of other cultures), the importation of sharia law believers is roughly analogous to the introduction of brown snakes to a south pacific island where the birds have no defense against them.

We will continue to permit such immigration and such sideshows until we either convert to seventh century values, or they convert to modern values. The conversion process, whichever side prevails, will not be a pretty event.
