this is false, the prophet muhammad encouraged people to free slaves. plus the slaves he kept were not like the slave in america. Slaves were considdered human and with equal rights as others. It was not uncommen for a slave to marry one from the family. Slaves were not tortured, treated like animals, or punished, EVER. Slavery in teh MIddle east actually diminished as Islam grew becasue Islam teaches that ALL humans are equal and slaves, unlike western nations thought for 100s of years, are humans. Get your facts straight and stop spreading anti-islamic propaaganda. Also slaves were not stolen/kidnapped, they chose to work as slaves because being a slvae was not considered shameful, it was a job.
