Human Ignorance Revealed by The True WORD of the LORD

in response to reader comment: smug talk usually signals ignorance.

In the same way you felt obliged to say something in the face of perceived vitriol towards the Quran, so too the obligation of directing some thoughts towards this discussion (even at this late date) was prompted when I read your exchange. So what was prompted? The centuries old counterclaim of Islam, that somehow the Quran is promoted as the 'revealed' word of god, which operates under the false presumption that Almighty God does not have the power to protect His WORD as found in the Hebrew Holy Bible.

There is not a doubt in this believer's mind that every practicing Muslim needs to adhere to a firm belief that the Quran is what they claim it to be. It is an investment of the self that if one decides to follow something as deep minded as a spiritual writ, the religion of it needs all the support necessary to keep a believing relationship going. But, how does one define the power necessary to make the distinction?

To bring this to the contemporary context, there is duality of beliefs going on; begging the question: which one is the 'revealed' word of god (the Quran or the Hebrew Holy Bible), for they both cannot be? Sublime to that question is the power that gives Truth to the actual revealed WORD; how does a human mindset make that distinction? The answer is: the natural human mind cannot.

The disciple of Yeshua HaMashiach will follow the Hebrew Holy Bible as the true revealed WORD of GOD because the Holy Spirit gives the true believer that power in faith in Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ. This is where the distinction is made, that the Hebrew Holy Bible is spiritually given, that there is no spiritual argument that can defeat that empowering of Yeshua HaMashiach (Isaiah 53:1) as the True LORD.
