Islam-phobia?

Try replacing everyword ISLAM with American and read it again. It would sound really funny. Are we not fundamentalistic in our view of the world? Are we not trying to impose our ideas against others? May be the same with islamic fundamentalists?
They are trying the same with their own religion as we try to export our capitalism and western culture to the rest of the world?
