Once again, Daniel Pipes has been unfairly and irreverently attacked by sheer ignorance and impatience to malign his good name. Here we have again a supposedly intelligent person, a Ph.D. from Oxford, desperately trying to cause an international furor by deliberately misunderstanding Daniel Pipes' written words.
It is becoming increasingly more dangerous to write anything these days, especially when one is writing facts, not opinions, as Daniel Pipes does, and then have to face the onslaught of reaction which oftentimes can be irksome in the least, and libelous in the extreme. It's high time that such schooled members of society as Eboo Patel put on their reading glasses and really get to know the ipsissima verba before they begin their attacks against other learned persons such as Daniel Pipes. Research is the key word here; without it, the truth is lost.
Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened for relevance, substance, and tone, and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome, but comments are rejected if scurrilous, off-topic, vulgar, ad hominem, or otherwise viewed as inappropriate.
