DENIAL OF INVOLVEMENT

Dr. Pipes, a person whom I respect and even admire for his honesty and intellectual prowess, has felt it necessary to let us know that he had no role in the cartoon insanity, and I believe him.

It does, however, emphasize the point that anyone who makes comment on Islam, Mohammed, Muslims, etc., or has involvement with those who do must account or defend their commentary.

Of course, Dr Pipes is only dispelling conspiracy theories, setting the record straight. But we live in an era where the entire world is a crowded theatre, and yelling "Mohammed" can and does get people hurt. It is the Dr Pipes' of the world we must protect.
