Regarding Juan Cole's comment that you have "questioned the wisdom of allowing American Muslims to vote," you claim on November 19, 2007 that you "don't even know what [Cole] might be referring to.

Don't you think that it is likely that Cole is referring to the commentary by Parvez Ahmed that you commented on just four days earlier?

Muslims voting: Parvez Ahmed, wrote in the "Rhetoric undermines the war on terror," Austin American-Statesman: "Daniel Pipes questions the wisdom of allowing American Muslims to vote." I have never said such a thing; this is pure fabrication. (November 15, 2007)
