You want a decisive study

Basically, kuran/sharia are compatible with:

• anarchy
• Nazism
• Communism

If you want a decisive study, we can look at the following events:

• murder of Liaqat Ali Khan, 1951/10/16--which coffin-nailed all further attempts at democracy in Pakistan
• overthrow of Mohd Neguib by Gamal Nasser--which put paid to any further Egyptian attempts at such
• 1970 election and results--actually two failures: Pakistan where military refused to give up power and murdered 3.5 million (including 2.4 million Muslims) Bengalis; and formed-from-this nation of Bangladesh--shown by 1975/08/15 murder of Mujib!
• India, where a separate code was demanded (and implemented) for Muslims in 1987

Basically, Islam has already shown itself absolutely incompatible with democracy!
